Solution Overview

The edge banding automation line targets the banding step of panel and custom furniture. It combines straight, double-end or return-feed edge banders with auto flipping, buffer recycling and conveying so that all four edges are banded in a continuous loop, cutting manual handling and idle time for cycle-based banding production.

Line Composition

At the core are edge banders with flush-join, rough trim, finish trim, copying, scraping and polishing stations. Automatic flippers and return conveying enable a four-edge banding loop, while a buffer recycling table carries panels between processes so banding links smoothly with the upstream cutting and downstream drilling stations.

Integration & Control

The whole line uses centralized PLC control, coordinating cycle timing and linked fault stops, and can exchange data with the cutting line and drilling center line to form a complete panel furniture automation line. The line is custom-composed to the plant’s throughput and layout, with delivery training.
