Frequently Asked Questions
Company
What certifications do your machines have?
All our machines carry CE marking for European market compliance. The company holds ISO 9001 (quality), ISO 14001 (environmental) and ISO 45001 (occupational health and safety) management system certifications. Since founding we have been granted 81 nationally recognized patents, and we are a National High-Tech Enterprise, a provincial SRDI (Specialized, Refined, Distinctive and Innovative) SME, a Guangzhou Science & Technology 'Little Giant' enterprise, a Guangdong High-Tech Product holder, and a Guangdong Contract-Abiding and Creditworthy Enterprise.
Ordering
What is the typical lead time for delivery?
Standard models are typically delivered within 30-45 days after order confirmation. Custom configurations or large orders may require 60-90 days. We maintain inventory of popular models for faster delivery. Shipping arrangements (FOB, CIF, DDP) can be discussed based on your location and preferences.
Do you offer financing or leasing options?
Yes, we work with several international financing partners to offer flexible payment options including: letter of credit (L/C), telegraphic transfer (T/T) with deposit, and equipment leasing programs in select markets. Contact our sales team at sales@tuodiaocnc.com for details specific to your country.

What is a six-sided drill and how does it work?
A six-sided drill is a CNC machine that drills holes on all six faces of a panel (top, bottom, front, back, left, right) in a single pass. The panel enters the machine, sensors detect its dimensions, and multiple drill packs move into position to process all faces simultaneously with ±0.1mm accuracy. This eliminates the need for multiple machines and repositioning.
What is the difference between a six-sided drill and a PTP machining center?
A six-sided drill is optimized for high-speed drilling on panel components — it processes all six faces quickly but only drills and does light milling. A PTP (Point-to-Point) machining center is more versatile: it can drill, route, and mill complex 3D shapes on five sides, making it ideal for solid wood components, decorative panels, and parts requiring both drilling and profiling. Choose a six-sided drill for volume panel production; choose a PTP center for complex or mixed-material work.
How many panels can a six-sided drill process per day?
Throughput depends on the model and panel complexity. A double drill pack model processes 6-7.5 panels per minute (approximately 2,880-3,600 panels per 8-hour shift). A six drill pack dual-channel model can process 10-12.5 panels per minute (4,800-6,000 per shift). Actual throughput varies based on board size, number of holes, and loading method (manual vs. auto-loader).
What is the minimum board size your machines can process?
Our six-sided drills can process boards as small as 250mm × 50mm, making them suitable for narrow drawer sides, small shelf components, and other small panel furniture parts. The CNC control system automatically detects board dimensions and adjusts the drilling program accordingly.
Service
Do you provide installation and training services?
Yes. Every machine purchase includes: 1) On-site installation and commissioning by our factory-trained engineers, 2) Comprehensive operator training (typically 3-5 days), 3) Programming training for your technical staff, and 4) Ongoing remote support via IoT connectivity. We also offer advanced training at our Guangzhou headquarters for customers who want deeper technical knowledge.
What after-sales support do you provide?
Tuodiao CNC provides comprehensive after-sales support: 1) 40+ service centers worldwide for rapid response, 2) Remote diagnostics via IoT connectivity for real-time troubleshooting, 3) Spare parts with 48-hour global shipping, 4) Preventive maintenance programs, 5) 24/7 hotline support. Technical
Can your machines integrate into an existing production line?
Yes. All Tuodiao machines are designed for line integration. They feature standard conveyor interfaces, barcode scanner inputs, and MES system connectivity. Whether you're adding a single machine to an existing line or building a complete automated production cell, our engineers will design the integration to match your current equipment and workflow.
What software do your machines use? Is it easy to learn?
Our machines use industry-standard CNC control systems with touch-screen HMI (Human-Machine Interface). For drilling machines, recipes can be created directly on the touchscreen or imported from CAD/CAM software. For cutting machines, we include nesting software that automatically optimizes material usage. Most operators become proficient within 2-3 days of training. We also support integration with third-party production management systems.
What voltage and power requirements do your machines need?
Most machines require 380V, 3-phase, 50Hz power supply (standard industrial power in most countries). We can configure machines for 220V/60Hz or other local standards upon request. Air compressor requirements are typically 0.6-0.8 MPa. Total power consumption varies by model — from 15kW for a double drill pack six-sided drill to 35kW for a six drill pack model. Detailed power requirements are provided with each quotation.
