The drilling center automation line centers on a CNC six-side drill with infeed conveying, buffering and flipping/sorting for continuous six-side drilling. Three-line setups reach about 6-7.5 panels while a five-channel line reaches about 10-12.5; minimum panel 250x50mm. Ideal for batch custom and panel furniture drilling.

Solution Overview

The drilling center automation line is built around a CNC six-side drill, with automatic infeed conveying, buffering and flipping/sorting devices so panels complete six-side drilling and grooving as they flow continuously. Compared with standalone machines, the line sharply reduces manual loading and positioning waits, forming the drilling middle section of batch panel and custom furniture production.

Line Efficiency

Depending on configuration, a three-drill-package six-side drilling three-line setup reaches about 6-7.5 panels, while the intelligent five-channel six-side drilling line reaches about 10-12.5, with a minimum panel size of 250 × 50 mm.

Integration & Control

The line is barcode/data-driven and compatible with nesting software, linking seamlessly with upstream cutting and edge banding lines. It is custom-composed to the plant’s throughput and layout, delivered with installation, commissioning and training.
